What “private” means on this transfer
Three things, all about control. The vehicle is yours — no other passengers and no other drop-offs. The departure is yours — you leave when you clear customs, not when the last seat sells. The price is fixed — quoted per vehicle before you travel, never negotiated at the curb after a long flight.
That is the difference from a shared shuttle, which sells seats and stops at several hotels. To the Hotel Zone a private transfer takes about 25 minutes; a shared van usually needs 60 to 90.
Vehicles: who fits in what
Groups of up to 9 ride in a Toyota Hiace or Nissan Urvan van with room for luggage. Couples and small families can ride in a Toyota Sienna or Toyota Highlander — up to 4 passengers with limited luggage. How your transfer works, step by step
- Book online — pay by card, PayPal or Mercado Pago, or choose to pay cash in USD or MXN. Add your flight number.
- We track your flight. Early or late, the driver adjusts; a delay costs you nothing.
- Clear immigration and customs at Terminal 2, 3 or 4 — the process is the same in each.
- Walk past the booths inside the terminal. The people offering a “free ride” between customs and the exit are selling timeshare presentations, not transportation.
- Go to your terminal’s meeting point — Terminal 2: right through the exit doors, or the Welcome Bar for international flights · Terminal 3: the Margaritaville bar · Terminal 4: column C. Your driver waits there with a TT & MORE sign and official airport ID.
- Straight to your hotel — no other passengers, no other drop-offs.

Private transfer vs shared shuttle, taxi and Uber
Airport taxis are priced at the curb, and a regular Uber usually will not pick you up at the terminal — the rules are explained in Uber at Cancun Airport. If you are one or two people travelling light, the ADO bus is genuinely cheaper and we will say so; it drops you at a bus station, not at your hotel. A private transfer earns its price when time, luggage, children or group size are involved.
Round trips, stops and your return to the airport
Book a round trip and the return leg is already arranged: tell us your departure flight and we schedule the hotel pickup. Need a supermarket or pharmacy on the way in? Stops are allowed with prior notice — up to 1 hour is $30 USD. Moving between two hotels mid-trip is a separate hotel-to-hotel transfer.

Islands are reached by ferry, so we drive you to the right pier: Puerto Juárez for Isla Mujeres ($45), Chiquilá for Holbox ($240), and the Playa del Carmen pier for Cozumel. Ferry tickets are paid separately at the terminal.
