How the Playa del Carmen transfer works
You book with your flight number 24-48 hours before arrival. TT & More tracks the flight, so a delay does not cost you the ride and does not cost you extra. After customs you walk out to the arrivals hall where your driver is waiting with a sign.
From there it is a single, direct ride down Highway 307. In normal conditions the drive is 60-75 minutes. Holiday weekends, Sunday afternoons and the weekday 5-7 PM window can add 15-20 minutes — we build that into the pickup timing on the return leg.
What is included
Included: private vehicle for your group only, meet-and-greet at arrivals, flight monitoring, luggage space, bottled water, bilingual driver and door-to-door drop-off at your Playa del Carmen address.
Not included: gratuity, and any additional stop (supermarket, second hotel, restaurant) unless you request it when booking so we can quote it up front. There are no airport surcharges and no late-night surcharge on this route.
Private transfer vs ADO, taxi and shared shuttle
The ADO bus runs direct from terminals 2, 3 and 4 to the Playa del Carmen downtown terminal in about 75 minutes for $270 MXN, but it drops you at the terminal — you still need a taxi to your hotel with your luggage. A shared shuttle is cheaper per person at around $35/pp, but it waits to fill and then makes 5-8 drop-offs before yours.

How your pickup at Cancun Airport works
- Send your flight number when you book. We track the flight, so if it lands early or late the driver works from the real landing time. You do not need to call anyone.
- After customs, keep walking. The booths between customs and the exit offer “free transportation” and “VIP lounges”. They are timeshare sales, not your ride.
- Go out through the glass exit doors. Your driver waits at your terminal’s meeting point with a TT & MORE sign and official airport ID (Terminal 2: right through the exit doors, or the Welcome Bar for international flights · Terminal 3: the Margaritaville bar · Terminal 4: column C). From the customs exit to your seat usually takes 5 to 10 minutes.
