Most Chichen Itza options sold in Cancun are group tours: a coach picks up at 6 AM, collects passengers from eight hotels, follows a fixed schedule and includes a lunch stop and a shopping stop you did not ask for. That works for some travelers.
This is the other thing. You get a vehicle and a driver — your group only, leaving when you want, stopping where you want, waiting while you explore, and taking you home when you are done. No other passengers, no fixed departure, no shopping detour.
Round trip, one way, and multi-stop
Round trip is the common booking: hotel to Chichen Itza and back the same day, 10-12 hours door to door. One way works if you are continuing to Merida or Valladolid rather than returning to the coast. Multi-stop adds a cenote, Ek Balam, Valladolid or Izamal on the same run — tell us at booking so the day is planned around it and quoted properly.
Pickup works from Cancun, the Hotel Zone, Puerto Morelos, Playa del Carmen, Akumal or Tulum. The further south you start, the earlier the pickup, because the drive to the site grows.
What is included
Included: private vehicle for your group, bilingual driver, hotel pickup and drop-off, air conditioning, bottled water, tolls and fuel on the 180D, and the driver waiting at the site while you visit.
